A Yarra Valley benchmark 🍷✨

Giant Steps has built a serious reputation in Australian wine, with 35+ trophies, 100+ gold medals, and a seven-time winner of Wine & Spirits ‘Top Wineries of the Year’. Most recently, they were named 2025 Halliday Winery of the Year, with the 2023 Applejack Vineyard Pinot Noir taking out Halliday’s Pinot Noir of the Year.

Sourced from the cool-climate, high-altitude Applejack Vineyard, this pinot is a masterclass in freshness, elegance, and depth. The vineyard’s rich volcanic soils and meticulous 10-month aging in French oak create a pinot that’s vibrant yet layered, balancing red berry fruit, fine tannins, and signature Yarra Valley finesse.

With a track record like this, Giant Steps isn’t just making great wine—it’s shaping the future of Australian pinot noir.

What the experts say about this wine 👇

2022 was a hard act to follow, but this superb wine gives it a shake. Exotic, aromatic and pure with its bouquet of wild strawberries, dark cherries, quince, spices and flowers. Densley packed, this saturates the palate, but, as always, it's light on its feet at the same time. Seamless tannins round out another benchmark for what's already a benchmark wine.
