The 2024 Brokenwood Pinot Noir hails from the cool-climate slopes of Beechworth, Victoria—an emerging region turning heads for its elegant, expressive reds.

Expect bright red cherry, cranberry, and savoury spice, layered over silky tannins and a whisper of oak. It’s fresh, balanced, and made to drink now, but has the structure to reward short-term cellaring.

While Brokenwood is best known for its Graveyard Shiraz—one of Australia’s most iconic wines and a First Classified (First Growth) in Langton’s Classification—this Pinot proves they know how to deliver quality (and value) across the board.

Brokenwood

Thirty percent whole bunch inclusion with maturation predominately in used French oak for a period of 9 months. Semi translucent bright ruby red colour with a light crimson red hue. Fragrant red cherry, violet and red raspberry scents sail out of the glass followed by a whiff of anise, fresh herbs and spice. Delicious red cherry, red raspberry and delicate rhubarb flavours carry a fresh energetic feel with notions of fresh herbs, delicate forest floor and spice ensuing. Bright youthful almost crunchy like acidity and polished tannins. Concludes long with lots of frisky red fruits. Drink over the next 5-6 years.
