Buy Immich-Batterieberg Steffensberg Riesling in Australia
A classic Mosel slope — precise, mineral, and beautifully etched 🍏⛰️
Immich-Batterieberg is one of the oldest estates in the Mosel (dating back to the 9th century), and is famous for ultra-traditional, low-intervention Riesling grown on impossibly steep slate terraces. Steffensberg is one of the standout single vineyards: red slate soils, long sunlight exposure, and naturally low yields give intensity without weight.
The 2022 shows pure Mosel elegance — citrus, stone fruits, with that signature smoky-mineral edge from the site. The palate is silky with a long finish.

Who said that dry Mosel riesling is tart? This beauty is the exact opposite. Dense, but undramatic stone fruit aromas fill out the concentrated medium-bodied palate that has a stunning silkiness through the mind-blowingly long, caressing finish. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.
From the steep slate slopes of the Mosel, this dry Riesling from Immich-Batterieberg’s Steffensberg vineyard delivers laser-focused acidity and mineral precision. A brilliant German white wine, shipped from our Sydney cellar and delivered Australia-wide.
