A taste of California’s heritage in every glass 🍷✨

Sourced from century-old vines that produce tiny yields of intensely flavoured fruit, the 2022 Hartford Court Old Vine Zinfandel is everything you want in a top-tier Zin—rich, bold, and deeply expressive.

This vintage is bursting with fruit—think blackberry compote, black cherry, and wild raspberry—layered with spice, white pepper, and a touch of cocoa. The palate is silky yet powerful, with fine tannins and a long, lingering finish that showcases its incredible depth.

Zinfandel thrives on age, and these old vines are proof that some of the best wines come from the past.

What the experts say about this wine

Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, the 2022 Hartford Zinfandel soars with notes of rose oil, star anise, kirsch, and raspberry pie leading to a core of stewed red plums and incense. The medium to full-bodied palate has a refreshing backbone and lightly chewy texture, finishing with lovely purity and a red berry lift. Don and Jennifer Hartford tend this head-trained vineyard in the backyard of their home. Planted over 100 years ago, the Hartford Vineyard’s vines are the lowest yielding of all of their Old Vine Zinfandel vineyards.
