Iconic Aussie Shiraz, with Barossa soul š·š„
Rockford Basket Press is one of Australiaās most collected reds. A First Classified (First Growth) in Langtonās Classification, itās chased vintage after vintageāright up there with Penfolds Grange and Henschke Hill of Grace.
The 2021 is classic Basket Press: sourced from dry-grown Barossa vineyards aged 60 to 130 years and made using traditional basket press techniques. Itās all about purity and structureāspicy, earthy, layered, and powerful.
With limited production and serious aging potential, this is one of the countryās most collectible Shiraz releasesāand a must-have for any serious cellar.

Medium-deep red with a trace of purple in the rim; the bouquet suggests meaty, spicy, earthy/terracotta and forest underbrush nuances. Cranberry on the tongue. Full bodied and fleshy with good extract and plenty of firm tannin bringing on the finish and then a lingering aftertaste. A more savoury style of Barossa shiraz with earthy drying tannins and subtle richness.
